Terms of Service

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cellsync.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised access.

You may not share your account with any other person, create multiple accounts for the same individual, use another person's account without their permission, or provide false or misleading registration information.

We require email verification before you can access the App's features. You must verify your email address within 48 hours of registration. Unverified accounts may be automatically removed.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the App in a manner that may cause harm. Where reasonably practicable, we will notify you before doing so.

CELA (CellSync Expert Skin Intelligence Agent) is our AI-powered skin analysis tool. CELA analyses photographs of your face to assess visible skin characteristics and generates personalised skincare protocol recommendations, product suggestions, and red light therapy guidance.

The CellSync skin analysis service is a cosmetic wellness tool only. It is not a regulated medical device and does not constitute medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment.

CELA cannot diagnose skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or acne vulgaris. It cannot replace the assessment of a qualified dermatologist, detect skin cancer or melanoma, or account for underlying health conditions or medications.

If you have concerns about your skin health, consult a qualified medical professional.

When you submit a photograph for skin analysis, that image is processed in real time by our AI system and immediately discarded upon completion of analysis. We do not retain your photographs.

The following data derived from your scan is stored in your profile: overall skin health score, nine individual skin metric scores (hydration, radiance, texture, tone, firmness, pore visibility, redness, dewiness, clarity), perceived skin age estimate and range, eye area age estimate and range, skin type classification, identified concerns and severity, skin strengths, image quality and confidence score, personalised protocols, and recommended rescan interval.

CELA generates estimates of perceived skin age and eye area age based on visible skin characteristics. These are cosmetic assessments only — not medical determinations. They are stored in your profile to track changes over time.

CELA's analysis is based on visible skin characteristics in the photograph provided. Accuracy may be affected by lighting, image quality, camera angle, make-up, and other factors. We make no warranty that recommendations will be suitable for your specific skin needs.

The CellSync Ingredient Scanner allows you to check any skincare product for compatibility with your skin profile. It is a cosmetic compatibility tool only and does not constitute safety advice or medical guidance.

With your consent, anonymised and aggregated scan data may be used to improve CELA's accuracy over time.

CellSync's red light therapy protocols are designed for cosmetic wellness purposes only. They are not medical treatments.

Do not use red light therapy devices if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have photosensitivity disorders or lupus, are taking photosensitising medications, have active or historical skin cancer in the treatment area, or have epilepsy or sensitivity to flickering light. Consult your GP if in doubt.

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Opened or used skincare products cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless faulty.

If a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us at support@cellsync.co.uk within 30 days of receipt.

All intellectual property in the App including the CellSync brand, CELA technology, software, algorithms, and content is owned by or licenced to CellSync Limited. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property.

CellSync Limited retains ownership of all anonymised, aggregated, and de-identified scan data generated through the App. This provision survives termination of your account.

You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission, reverse engineer or decompile the App, or use our brand or the CELA name without our prior written consent.

Nothing limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount paid by you to CellSync in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
